The Inspiring Journey of Chef Jimmy Ly and Yen Vo
It all began when Chef Jimmy met Yen, who had moved from Houston to New York City to pursue a career in fashion. Yen, who grew up enjoying traditional southern Vietnamese food, was in search of the best Vietnamese cuisine in the city. Jimmy knew the answer lay in his parents' home-cooked meals. This passion for authentic flavors and family recipes led to the opening of Madame Vo in 2017 and later, Monsieur Vo in 2022.
