With her roots firmly planted in the rural landscapes of Maine, MaKenzie is currently blossoming amidst the diverse artistic milieu of New York. In pursuit of her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) at the renowned Sarah Lawrence College, she's building upon her rich educational background. With a dual BA in English and Writing/Publishing from Saint Joseph's College of Maine, her literary prowess has been recognized and rewarded.

Her unique lyrical style and engaging narratives have earned her significant accolades. Her poem 'Four Women', her maiden publication in Assisi: An Online Journal of Arts and Letters, along with her mesmerizing photographs 'Decay' and 'Sails', also debuted in the same journal, were nominated for the prestigious Best of The Net.
