She has been twice a finalist in the Arc Center Renewal in 2019 and 2017, and The Portrait Society of America in 2017; received two awards at the Portrait Society of America Annual Member Show, a Gold and Silver medal from the Allied Artists of America and The Salmagundi Club, and a Master Circle Medal award from The International Association of Pastel Societies.
Inspiring the Next Generation of Artists
In addition to her successful artistic career, Cook also dedicates her time to teaching workshops at the Art Students League in New York City, a weekly class at the Pastel Society of America, and has taught workshops in France and guest lectured at Southern University of Utah. Her expertise and engaging teaching style have shaped numerous new artists and inspired countless individuals to chase after their creative dreams.
